I have been waiting for this wedding for the whole year - since the day I photographed their engagement. Amanda & Murphy are such a loving, sweet, charming couple & I knew that their day would be very special! Amanda was getting ready at her father's house and I got to meet her lovely family and take some shots of the girls cheering with their mimosas before they changed into gorgeous mint colored dresses. The bride found her dream gown at Stella's Bridal and she looked like a model. No wonder her dad struggled to hold back the tears when he saw his daughter looking so beautiful! The ceremony took place at the North Darien Bible Church - a very pretty modern church, spacious & light. I really loved shooting there! Amanda and Murphy did the sand ceremony and the colors of the sand just happened to match Buffalo Bills - coincidence? Don't think so! Right after the ceremony we headed to the beautiful Alden Town Park for some photos - a lovely location close to the church that provided us with summery backdrops! For the reception Amanda & Murphy chose the Whistle Stop Inn and it turned out to be a great venue with the friendliest staff that made everyone feel welcome and taken care of! The DJ - Macy Paradise kept the dance floor busy at all times mixing awesome tunes and spicing things up with some Drowning Pool. It was an amazing day and we loved every minute of it!
