We feel so fortunate to have been able to capture Bridget & Tyler's gorgeous wedding this weekend! We started at the Hyatt Regency hotel where the bridal party was getting ready and Genevieve was working her magic making sure the girls look absolutely stunning (and they did!). The bride found her (drop-dead gorgeous) dress at the Heart-to-Heart Bride & we couldn't take our eyes off her! Bridget & Tyler's day had a blend of Irish & Lithuanian traditions and there were a lot of unique details like a horseshoe tied to her beautiful bouquet (Flowers Rockcastle created a masterpiece!), a sixpence on the sole of her shoe, a tablecloth embroidered by her grandmother and many other sweet little things. One of my favorite parts of the day was Bridget's first look with her father - he was so delighted & happy to see his beautiful daughter, everyone's heart melted! Bridget & Tyler's ceremony took place at the Chapel Hill - a small chapel with unique architecture and breathtaking stained glass windows. A part of the ceremony was the bride and the groom drinking Krupnikas (a honey liquor) - we learned from the Reverend Kris Miller that there used to be a tradition for the newlyweds to drink it for the whole month after wedding, thus it is called "honeymoon"! Once the ceremony was over we headed back to Hyatt for the reception part and oh how beautiful it was! We heard some really touching speeches from the best man and the maid of honor and struggled to hold back the tears during the father-daughter & mother-son dances. Once the dance floor was open for the guests Encore Events DJs kept everyone moving! We all had a fantastic time! Please enjoy a few of our favorite shots & congratulations to the beautiful couple!
